Your group (min.6 pax) will be welcomed at Toowoomba Wellcamp Airport and brought by bus (40 mins) to Dalby on the Western Downs.

You can then choose to stay out and play, or return to the motel and sleep.

SATURDAY

9.30am Bus to Bunya Mountains via the gorgeous small town of Bell for morning tea at Pips & Cherries, a funky little café with a passion for art deco. Explore the Bell Church with its Michaelangelo-esque frescoes and adjacent biblical garden with art works.
11.30am Arrive at Bunya Mtns, home of the unique ancient bunya nut tree which used to feed dinosaurs 400 million years ago; a choice of rainforest walks take you into a lost world of fresh air, flora and fauna, peace and quiet. An unforgettable experience.

01.00pm A late lunch at the Bunyas (try bunya-nut cake) followed by a bus trip to Jimbour through a fabulous farmscape.

05.00pm Drinks and canapes as the sun goes down in the gorgeous Jimbour House garden. Jimbour House is a stunning French-style mansion which has featured in many films, most recently “The Second”
06.30pm Move on to your STARLIGHT PADDOCK DINNER – another unique experience dining in style in a farm paddock on the Jimbour Plain, wrapped in Yak-wool rugs, darkness and the sounds of silence under a canopy of stars. One word …..fantastic.
SUNDAY
It’s not Sunday without a sleep-in! Or if you’re full of beans, a run/walk along the Myall Creek again, soaking in the clean air and being spooked by the wildlife. Then relax over a languorous breakfast at the very stylish Urban Paddock Café just around the corner, with its tempting clothing and gift shops.
Your final country experience will be by bus across the world-famous blacksoil Darling Downs plains, a national food bowl and a glorious patchwork of seasonal colour.

Visit JONDARYAN WOOLSHED Historical Museum and Park for a guided tour and lunch. The central feature of this major cultural tourist attraction is the 150-year-old heritage-listed slab woolshed – still in working order. You’ll be fed in classic bush style (with a modern edge) and shown some tricks of the country trade.

Then finally, filled with fresh air and fond memories, you’ll be taken back to Toowoomba Wellcamp Airport to catch your flight back to the big smoke.
